Bilingual District Sales Manager (St. Paul)
About the Job
Kare Distribution is seeking a hands-on, entrepreneurial, District Sales Management professional who has a passion for DSD sales and the Hispanic community to lead the growing field sales team. Beyond these characteristics, we are seeking a professional who can positively motivate the field sales representatives and implement new business development strategies to dominate market share. Not to be underestimated is the ability to provide the necessary leadership to the sales force to deliver a level of customer service that perpetually exceeds customers’ expectations. Bilingual English/Spanish is a must, along with a familiarity with the Hispanic community.
Ideal candidate should posses a college degree and a minimum of 5 years of related experience in the areas of category management, consumer products, and DSD sales. Candidate will lead the development of their markets with a proven ability to manage, delegate, and track performance to deliver upon Company objectives. Plan on being fully hands-on and out in the field interacting on every level. Also critical is a thorough understanding of market analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and balance sheet management. A demonstrated track record of increasing leadership and responsibility and achieving positive business results is important.
Key characteristics and demonstrated experience must include:
- Minimum 5 years experience in sales management, preferred in DSD environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Marketing Management or related field
- Strong leadership abilities with the ability to motivate and recognize the contributions of field sales team to establish a positive team culture.
- Creative and strategic thinker
- Exercise appropriate judgment and make sound decisions with limited supervision, particularly in on-site situations when timing and foresight are essential.
- Strong mentoring, interpersonal and organizational skills with attention to detail. Demonstrated ability to prioritize and effectively multi-task.
- Must demonstrate a strong commitment to business ethics and integrity. Professional ethics should never be compromised for business advantage.
- Excellent communication skills, polished demeanor
- Ability to work under tight and sometimes changing deadlines

Compensation
Competitive compensation package commensurate with experience $50,000 annually, plus quarterly bonus up to $8,000 per quarter based on results, and a comprehensive benefits plan, including medical/dental/vision/life insurance.
